Pronombres personales en inglés
Un pronombre es una palabra que reemplaza a un nombre (sustantivo). En inglés hay 8 pronombres principales:

💡 Diferencia clave: En inglés NO diferenciamos tú vs. ustedes. Los dos son "you". En el examen, esto importa porque te harán preguntas sobre "you".
El verbo TO BE (ser / estar)
TO BE es el verbo más importante en inglés. Lo usas para:
- Identificar: I am a doctor. (Yo soy un médico)
- Describir estados: I am happy. (Yo soy feliz / Estoy feliz)
- Hablar de ubicación: You are at home. (Tú estás en casa)
- Hablar de la edad: She is 25 years old. (Ella tiene 25 años)
Conjugación de TO BE en presente
FORMA AFIRMATIVA:

⚠️ Atajo común en inglés: la forma negativa tiene dos versiones. Ambas significan lo mismo:
- You are not here. = You aren't here. (forma contraída)
FORMA INTERROGATIVA (preguntas):
Inviertes el orden: verbo PRIMERO, pronombre DESPUÉS.

🧠 Acuérdate: En preguntas, el verbo TO BE va PRIMERO. En español decimos "¿Eres alto?" pero en inglés es "Are you tall?" (literalmente: "¿Eres tú alto?").
Short answers (respuestas cortas)
En inglés NO puedes responder con solo "sí" o "no". Debes repetir el pronombre + el verbo:
